COURT ADMINISTRATION ROLES

The Office of Court Administrator is responsible for professional management and accountability of court resources to meet the needs of litigants with excellence while protecting the integrity of the judicial process.

The Court Administrator has the best quantitative and qualitative view of the system.
The Court Administrator of the Commercial Court is responsible for the following;
1.   Budget and Fiscal Management through planning and budgeting for both state and donor resources for optimal operations of the court.
2.   Human Resource Management through staff hiring and retaining, professional development and performance management to ensure a productive work environment.
3.   Technology Management through provision of modern and appropriate technological tools and systems that improve court performance.
4.   Research and Advisory Role including identifying threats and opportunities for improvement, recommending and implementing procedural and administrative reforms to enhance performance.
5.   Public Relations through stakeholder liaison on court related developments to promote public trust, understanding and confidence in the courts.
6.   Facility Management through planning, providing and managing adequate and suitable physical space for court operations that promotes public confidence.
